Module 1: Types of Videos (1 hour)
This module will help participants to understand the need of different types of educational videos according to the topic. Participants will also get the chance to map their curriculum to different types of videos.
Module 2: Open Broadcaster Software (1 hour)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to
– Use OBS to make the screencast.
– Explain the process flow required to record better screencasts.
Module 3: Animation Videos (30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to-
– Explain the process flow required to create animated videos.
– Use 2 different styles of animation tools
Module 4: Talking Head Video (30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to-
– Explain various types of lightning setup required to create talking head video.
– Explain the difference between the various types of camera that can be used to record talking head video.
– Explain the concept of croma key
Module 5: Tabletop video (30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to-
– Set up a tabletop recording studio.
– Explain the process flow required to record table top videos.
– Select the best camera for the creation of tabletop videos.
– Arrange lights for better video recording.
Module 6: Audio Recording (30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to-
– Explain the use of various types of audio recorders available for different situations.
– Explain the dos and don’ts for better audio recording.
– Set up the studio for better audio quality.
– Use Audacity software to improve the quality of audio.
Module 7: Open Sankore (30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to-
– Use open-sankore software to record Khan-academy style educational videos.
– Use open-sankore for scribbling on desktop.
– Use various tools available on open-sankore to teach in videos or in classroom.
Module 7: Camtasia for video editing (1 hour 30 minutes)
Learning Objectives: After completion of this module a participant will be able to use open-shot video editor to
– Clean the video
– Synchronize Audio with videos.
– Create Mashup style of video
– Produce a video for different devices in different formats.
– Apply chroma-key effect
– Manage a project
